Refund Policy
Last updated: July 4, 2026
1. Free trials first
Every new account starts with a free trial of the full service (the exact length is shown on the pricing page). It begins at signup and needs no payment method, so if you never subscribe you are never charged. Subscribe while the trial is still running and the first charge is deferred to the date the trial would have ended. Stripe emails you a reminder before that charge.
2. Canceling a subscription
You can cancel anytime from Settings via the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you already paid for: you keep full access until then, and no further charges are made. We do not issue partial refunds for the unused remainder of a billing period, except as described below.
3. Goodwill window after a forgotten trial
If your trial converted and you meant to cancel, write to hello@traderlog.co within 7 days of the first charge and we will refund it in full. This applies to the first charge after a trial, once per customer.
4. Errors and duplicates
Charges caused by a billing error on our side, including duplicate charges, are always refunded in full. Prorated upgrade charges follow the same rules as regular charges.
5. Statutory withdrawal rights (EU/UK consumers)
If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with a 14-day withdrawal right for digital services, you agree that the service starts immediately when you subscribe. The free trial plus the goodwill window above gives you at least as much protection in practice; your mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected either way.
6. How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method via Stripe, in the currency you paid, normally within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank. To request one, email hello@traderlog.co from your account email address.
